Students: How to Submit a GIC Application

In order to get started with the International Student GIC Program, you will need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Complete and Submit the Online Application Form and Verification

If you are working with a recruitment partner, get their unique link and use it to fill out and submit the online registration form. You will also need to make sure the proper steps are taken to verify your information; this can mean uploading a scan of your passport and valid Letter of Acceptance (LOA), or completing a virtual verification process, depending on the bank.

Step 2: Ensure You Open Your Bank Account

Once approved for a GIC by your chosen bank, you will need to register for a secure email or online account to obtain your account details and international wire instructions.

Step 3: Transfer Your Funds

You will need to send your payment via wire transfer for the purchase of your GIC and application fees. This payment can be split into two payments, provided you complete the necessary identity verification process. 

Step 4: Retrieve GIC on ApplyProof

You will receive details on how to access and download the verifiable GIC on the ApplyProof platform.
