How to Apply for an International Student GIC

Getting started with the International Student GIC Program is straightforward. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Complete and Submit the Online Application Form and Verification

• If you are working with a recruitment partner, request their unique link to fill out and submit the online registration form. You will also need to verify your information, which may involve uploading a scan of your passport and valid Letter of Acceptance (LOA) or completing a virtual verification process, depending on the bank.

• If you’re not working with a recruitment partner, you can apply directly for a GIC through the Our Solutions page on our website. The verification process will be the same.

Step 2: Ensure You Open Your Bank Account

Once your GIC is approved by your chosen bank, you will need to register for a secure email or online account to access your account details and international wire transfer instructions.

Step 3: Transfer Your Funds

Send your payment via wire transfer for the purchase of your GIC and any application fees. This payment can be split into two transactions, provided you complete the required identity verification process.

Step 4: Access Your GIC on ApplyProof

You will receive instructions on how to access and download your verifiable GIC on ApplyProof.
