Important for 2026: The "Field of Study" Rule

If you are applying for a College Diploma or Certificate in Canada, being at a PGWP-eligible school is no longer enough.

As of November 1, 2024, and continuing through 2026, college graduates must also graduate from a linked field of study (such as Healthcare, STEM, or Skilled Trades) to qualify for a PGWP.

Tip!  When you find a program you like, always check the "Post-Graduation Work Permit" section on the program's detail page to see if it aligns with Canada's current "Field of Study" list.
