Students: How to Find Programs by Destination and Level of Study on ApplyBoard – Assist

With thousands of programs at your fingertips, the ApplyBoard platform is designed to help you cut through the noise and find exactly what fits your goals. The most effective way to start is by using our two core filters: Destination and Program Level.

How to Find Programs by Destination

Whether you’ve always dreamed of the UK or are set on the Canadian prairies, you can filter your search to show only the countries that interest you. ApplyBoard currently offers programs across: Canada, USA, UK, Ireland. Germany, and Australia.

How to use the Destination Filter:

Log in to your ApplyBoard account.
Open Search: From the left-hand menu, select Search to open the search page.
Click Destination: Select the Destination dropdown menu located at the top of the search bar.
Select Countries: In the pop-up window, either type a location into the search bar or scroll through the list and check the boxes for your preferred countries (e.g., USA, Canada, UK).
Apply Results: Click the X or click outside the menu to see your updated list of programs.

Tip! You can narrow your results even further by clicking the arrow next to a country. For example, selecting United Kingdom will allow you to filter specifically for schools in Scotland, Wales, or Greater London.

How to Find Programs by Level of Study

To ensure you are only seeing programs you are academically eligible for, use the Level of Study filter. ApplyBoard supports a wide range of education levels, from K-12 to advanced Master's and PhD programs.

Follow these steps to filter by level:

Open Filters: Click the Filters button (with the settings icon) located on the right side of the main search bar.
Find Level: In the pop-up menu, locate and click on Level of Study to expand the section.
Select Level: Choose the relevant option that matches your next academic step (e.g., Master's or Post-Graduate Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, or College Diploma).
Apply Results: Click the purple Apply button at the bottom of the window to refresh your results.
