UK Government Scholarships for International Students

UK Government Funding

The UK government offers a variety of postgraduate scholarship programmes to financially support international students who are looking for help funding their studies in the UK.

The three main UK government scholarships offered are:

• GREAT Scholarships: Scholarships to UK universities for students from various countries.
• Chevening Scholarships: Prestigious and competitive scholarships that include fully funded UK master’s degrees.
• Commonwealth Scholarships: UK university scholarships given to talented individuals with the potential to make a positive impact on the global stage.

Institution Scholarships

Institution scholarships are offered based on:

• Academic, merit, and excellence scholarships: Awarded to students with a strong academic background.
• Performance-based scholarships: Awarded to students who have demonstrated ability in an extracurricular activity.
• Subject specific scholarships: Offered by individual departments to students studying a particular subject or course.
