Your ApplyBoard Application Page is your central command center. It’s where you’ll upload documents, communicate with our expert team, and track your progress from submission to your first day of class.
How to Access Your Dashboard
To manage your journey, start by heading to My Applications through your Profile. Your dashboard is divided into two clear sections:
- Unpaid Applications: These are like items in a shopping cart. Your application is "on hold" and will not be reviewed by our team until the application fee is paid.
- Paid Applications: These are your active files. Each application has a unique Application ID—keep this number handy whenever you contact Customer Support.
Action: Click "View" on any application to open its dedicated management page.
Understanding the Application Tabs
Once inside a specific application, you will see three primary tabs. Think of these as the "folders" of your academic file.
1. Requirements (The "To-Do" List)
This is the most important tab. It lists exactly what documents and information we need to move your application to the school. On your application you will see the following statuses:
Pro-Tip: Use the Filters menu or quick options to select "Rejected" or "Pending" and instantly highlight the specific tasks that need your attention. This helps you skip the completed items and focus only on what’s standing between you and your submission!
Clear Your Pending Requirements
Don't let missing documents slow you down. Learn exactly how to complete your pending tasks and move your application to the next stage.
2. Student Records (Your Application Highlights)
This tab stores your official milestones and important information. Here, you will find:
- University Portal Credentials: Many institutions now use their own internal portals for supplemental tasks or health insurance enrollment. If a school generates a unique student login for you, our team will upload those credentials or access instructions directly to this tab.
- Official Acceptance Letters: This is the most important record! Both your Conditional and Unconditional offer letters will be stored here. You will need to download these for your visa application.
3. Notes (Your Communication Hub)
Need to ask a question? Use the Notes tab to speak directly with the ApplyBoard team.
To send a message: Click "Take Action" > "Create Note."
Notifications: You will receive an alert here whenever we update your records or status.
Pro-Tips for a Faster Application
To avoid "Rejected" statuses and keep your hourglass moving, follow these best practices:
Use the Filters: Use the "Requirement Status" filter to quickly hide "Approved" items and focus only on what is "Missing."
Required vs. Optional: Focus on "Required" states first to ensure your application can proceed. "Optional" items can be added later to strengthen your profile.
Read the Revise Instructions: If a document is rejected, don't just re-upload the same one. Read the specific note under the requirement to see exactly what was wrong.
What Else Can I Do on My Application?
Beyond managing your documents and records, the ApplyBoard platform gives you full transparency and self-serve control over your journey. Here are two powerful tools located right at the top of your application page:
Track Your Application Journey
Stay informed with our high-level Application Journey Tracker. This visual timeline shows you exactly where your application stands in the process—from the moment you hit "Create" to your final arrival on campus.
Real-Time Status: See if your file is currently with the ApplyBoard review team or if it has been officially sent to the school.
Deadline Alerts: Keep an eye on the orange deadline badge (e.g., "Deadline is December 4, 2026") to ensure you complete all requirements on time.
Self-Serve with "Manage App"
Need to make a change? You don’t always need to wait for a support agent. The Manage App dropdown menu allows you to take immediate action on your file:
Change Intake: If your plans shift, you can request a move to a different start date (e.g., from Fall to Winter).
Add Backups: Strengthen your profile by adding alternative programs as backup options.
Cancel Application: If you’ve changed your mind about a specific program, you can cancel the application here.
Change Application Priority: If you have multiple paid applications, use this to let us know which one is your top choice.
Need more help? Each self-serve feature is supported by its own step-by-step guide so you can learn exactly how each change affects your journey.
What Do I Do Next?
Now that you’re familiar with your application page, it’s time to move your journey forward. To ensure your file reaches the admissions team as quickly as possible, follow these two essential steps:
Complete Your Pending Requirements: Check your Requirements tab for any items marked with a clock icon. Your application cannot be reviewed until all mandatory documents and questions are submitted.
Finalize Your Payment: Once your profile is ready, ensure you pay the application fee to move it from "Unpaid" to "Paid." Remember: if your chosen program has Before Payment Requirements (like a visa questionnaire or GPA disclaimer), you must complete those first before the system will allow you to checkout.
