ApplyBoard business registration requires specific documents and information. This FAQ answers the most common questions recruiters have about documents, the registration form, and what happens after you submit.
Note: Before you start your registration, make sure you have your documents ready. See Recruiters: Prepare Your Documents Before You Register for the full checklist.
Document Questions
A Business Certificate is an official document issued by a government authority or corporate registry in your country that legally registers your agency to conduct business. Examples include a Certificate of Incorporation, Business Licence, Tax Registration Certificate, or Commercial Register Extract.
You can obtain or request a copy of this document directly from your local government's business registry or tax authority. Not sure which document applies to your country? See our country-specific document guide for the exact document name and requirements for your region.
Not always. If your country's official documents are not in English, a certified or notarized English translation may be required. Please refer to the country-specific document guide to see the exact language requirements for your region.
If our team requires a translation after you submit, we will notify you during the review process with clear instructions on what to provide.
Yes — name mismatches cause processing delays and are the most common reason registrations are returned for revision. The legal business name on your profile must match the legal name on your Business Certificate exactly.
If there is a discrepancy — for example, if you trade under a different operating name (DBA) than your registered legal entity name — you must provide written clarification and supporting proof during submission so our team can verify your official business identity.
Expired documents will result in an immediate rejection. Your Business Certificate must be active and valid at the time of submission. Where applicable, it should have been issued or renewed within the last calendar year.
Check the expiry date on your certificate before uploading and renew it with your local authority if needed before you begin your registration.
ApplyBoard accepts documents in the following formats:
- PDF, JPEG, or PNG
- Maximum file size: 10 MB per document
Make sure all corners, text, and official stamps or watermarks on the document are clearly visible and not cropped. Blurry or partially visible documents may be rejected during review.
Registration Form Questions
Yes. Your progress is saved automatically as you complete each section of the form. If you log out or need to gather your documents, simply log back in to your ApplyBoard account and pick up where you left off.
Tip! Gather all your documents before you start the form. Having everything ready means you can complete registration in one session without interruption.
Once submitted, your profile details cannot be edited directly within the dashboard while your registration is under review or after approval. If you need to update business details — such as your address or primary contact, — reply to your support email thread with the updated information and our team will update your account records manually.
Review and Outcome Questions
The review process typically takes 48 hours. You will be notified by email at the address you used to sign up.

Check your spam or junk folder if you have not received a response within 48 hours, as emails from recruitersupport-jira@applyboard.com may be filtered.
If your registration requires changes, our compliance team will send an email specifying exactly which documents or information are needed. Reply directly to that email with the updated or missing documentation attached and our team will re-evaluate your submission as soon as it is received.
