Students: How to Create a Free Account on ApplyBoard

Registering for your free ApplyBoard account is the essential first step toward discovering international study opportunities tailored to your goals. By creating an account, you unlock a personalized study abroad plan designed to match your academic interests, preferred destination, and budget. Follow the simple steps below to set up your profile and begin exploring global education options today

 Already have an account? If you are an existing user on the ApplyBoard Classic Platform, this onboarding flow may look different. Please refer to the Classic Platform Guide for instructions on how to navigate your dashboard and submit applications.

Start Your Study Abroad Plan

  1. Go to ApplyBoard and select "Register."
  2. You will be guided through a short series of questions to personalize your study abroad plan, such as:
Onboarding Step Question / Category Details & Required Info
Step 1: Destinations Which countries are you interested in? Select from Canada, U.S.A, UK, Australia, Germany, or Ireland.
Step 2: Intakes Intake Date Define your preferred start date and intake.
Step 3: Academic Background What is your education background? Define your highest level of education and average grade.
Step 4: Field of Study Study Interest Define your subject area.
Step 5: Goals Study Level Define your intended study level (e.g., Master's, Post-Grad).
Step 6: Background Nationality & Residency State your nationality; you may be asked if you currently reside in your target destination.
Step 7: English Skills Test Results & Proficiency Provide Exam Type/Score, or select your current proficiency level.
Step 8: Financials Funds & Loans Total available funds (USD) and interest in education loan options.

Once you have answered the required questions, you will have officially unlocked your personalized study plan! 

Create Your Account

  1. To access your study plan, click "View my Program Matches" and create your account. 
  2. Choose to sign-up with one of your social profiles (Google or Facebook) or continue with your email or phone number.
  3. If you are continuing with your email, type in your email address and a password. Your password must be at least 10 characters, contain an uppercase and lowercase letter, and a number.
  4. Agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy and Cookies Policy.
  5. Click "Continue." 

Verify Your Email

  1. An verification code will be sent to your email address.
  2. Enter the 6-digit code in the Verification Code field to confirm your email.
  3. Didn’t get the email? Check your spam folder after 10 minutes or click "Resend".

Congratulations! You're Ready to Explore

Once verified, click "Continue" to access your new ApplyBoard account and start exploring study abroad options.
