What the High Job Demand Tag Means
ApplyBoard uses data from government sources — including the Canadian Occupational Projection System — to identify programs that lead to careers with stronger-than-average labour market demand. Programs meeting this criteria are marked with the High Job Demand tag on their program card.
How to Filter for High Job Demand Programs
- Log in to ApplyBoard and go to Programs & Schools in the left navigation panel.
- Click Advanced filters to open the full filter panel.
- Go to the Program feature section and check the box beside High Job Demand.
- Results will refresh automatically to show only programs tagged with high labour market demand.
Tip! Combine High Job Demand with other filters for stronger results:
- High Job Demand + PGWP: Finds Canadian programs where graduates both enter a high-demand field and have a clear pathway to stay and work after their studies. Try this filter combination.
- High Job Demand + Co-op programs: There is no dedicated co-op filter, but you can scan High Job Demand results for programs with (Co-op) or (Internship) in their title — these will typically include a work placement. Try this filter combination.
